The hard dog, fast dog contest is a culmination of a week-long training program. Each K9 was graded in a 100-yard dash on how fast and accurate it can make a controlled apprehension.
The Canadian Search and Disaster Dog Association held a meting and training session if Fairview this past weekend for anyone who thought they might like to see if their dog had what it takes to be a search and rescue dog as well as to see if there is enough interest to form a chapter of CASDDA here in Fairview.
